Medical Aesthetician Program: Overview & Requirements
The Medical Aesthetician program is a comprehensive field that combines Facial/Skin Care with Electrolysis and Laser Hair Removal training to provide graduates with the best opportunities in the job market.
Electrolysis, Laser Hair Removal, and Facials are often combined in the beauty and health industry; therefore, the graduate Medical Aesthetician student will be able to present to future employers a solid and thorough knowledge of every aspect of the industry.
Medical Aestheticians must comply with the rules and regulations for Facial specialists and Licensed Electrologists.
Facial Specialists are supervised by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and The Board of Cosmetology.


Licensed Electrologist: Enrollment Requirements
Licensed Electrologists are supervised by the Board of Medicine and Department of Health.
Requirements for Enrollment:
- Valid US Government ID
- Social Security Card
- High School Transcripts, Diploma, or GED
- Down payment (if needed)
*Students must be a minimum of 18 years old for the Facial Skincare Program and for the Electrolysis and Laser Program.
