Facial Steamer Training
In the Facial Skincare Specialist Program at Beauty and Health Institute (BHI), students gain hands-on training in one of the most essential tools in skincare: the facial steamer. While it may seem simple, proper use of a steamer can make a huge difference in the outcome of a facial treatment. In this curriculum topic, you’ll learn not only how to properly operate a professional steamer, but how to use it strategically to open pores, prepare the skin, and enhance the results of treatments that follow.

Why Facial Steamer Training Matters
Steam is often the very first step in a facial, and it sets the tone for the rest of the treatment. It softens the skin, opens the pores, and helps loosen debris and oil buildup, all while offering a relaxing experience for the client. But knowing how to use steam effectively and safely takes more than just turning it on.
We teach our students how to adjust temperature and timing for different skin types, how to position equipment properly, and how to use the ozone function when appropriate. By mastering this foundation, you’ll be better prepared for everything else in your skincare career.
