At Beauty and Health Institute, you begin preparing for your license on day one by doing the work of opening a business. You’ll complete your Florida application for licensure while still in class, using our step-by-step checklist that matches what the Department of Health requires. You’ll learn how to register your business as an LLC or sole proprietorship through the Florida Division of Corporations, apply for a local business tax receipt, and secure general liability insurance that covers electrolysis and laser procedures. You’ll learn all of this in our Electrolysis and Laser Program, and so much more. And you’ll do it all before graduation.

What Comes After Exams Is What Makes You a Professional

Florida’s licensing exam tests your knowledge of anatomy, sanitation, and electrolysis techniques, but it doesn’t teach you how to open a door, answer the phone, or explain to a client why your rates are what they are.
