Walking Distance (Approx. 20 minutes / ~1 mile):

  • Tiani’s Pizzeria: Located at 4724 Kelly Rd, Tiani’s Pizzeria is right next door to campus, making it an incredibly convenient and affordable option for a quick slice or a full pizza after class. This is a student favorite!
  • Circle K (Gas Station and Convenience Store): At 4710 W Hillsborough Ave, this Circle K offers quick snacks, coffee, drinks, and essential grab-and-go items, just a short walk from BHI.
  • Subway (Located inside Walmart): While a slightly longer walk, the Subway inside the Walmart at 1505 N Dale Mabry Hwy offers a reliable and budget-friendly option for easy and affordable food.

  • WestEnd Apartments (7610 W Waters Ave): On West Waters Avenue, WestEnd Apartments offers studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments. This complex provides a variety of amenities and is well-connected to shopping and dining spaces.
    • HART Bus Accessibility: Many of these apartment complexes are conveniently located along Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART) bus routes. Route 30 (Kennedy Blvd / Town ‘n’ Country) and Route 34 (Hillsborough Avenue) provide access near the campus (e.g., Kelly Rd @ Swindon Rd stop is a 4-minute walk) and can expand your living options even without a car. Always check real-time schedules on the HART website or using transit apps.
