Skin Conditions Training
As part of our Facial Skincare Program, you’ll learn to work with skin conditions as they actually appear. Such as rosacea, it doesn’t vanish when you turn down the AC. It flares in Tampa’s humidity, red and sensitive, often mistaken for irritation when it’s really vascular instability. And melasma doesn’t respond to brightening serums alone. It deepens under Florida’s sun, tied to hormones, genetics, and exposure. You won’t ever be taught to mask these issues with trending products or quick fixes. Instead, you’ll learn how to read the signs: the texture, the pattern, the history behind the redness or discoloration, and properly choose treatments that support healing from within.

The Impact of Florida’s Climate on Skin Health
Hot, humid air traps oil and bacteria, while UV exposure thickens pigment and weakens the skin’s natural barrier. Many clients arrive with conditions worsened by the local climate, not poor hygiene. Yet traditional facials often fall short of addressing these weather-driven concerns.
Our skin conditions training shows you how to identify underlying triggers, hormonal, environmental, and microbial, and pair them with targeted modalities like high frequency, ultrasonic, or gentle exfoliation. This hands-on training will help you stop guessing and start diagnosing.

Insight Before Treatment
Clients tire of products that promise everything but fix nothing. When you can look at a client’s breakout and say, “This is likely triggered by humidity and stress,” and then show them a plan that actually helps, they will listen.
That’s the kind of credibility that grows your client list organically. At BHI, you’ll spend hours observing real cases, practicing adjustments, and learning how to speak plainly and confidently about all complex skin issues.
